What do we talk about in these sessions?
The course of our conversation is greatly up to you.
You may want to continue a previous conversation, making progress on a big change you are pursuing.
You may have an immediate situation you would like to process with me and work out a solution for.
You may want to explore deeper questions about yourself or about your circumstances.
You may just want to reflect on your recent experiences and process your feelings and thoughts about these.
At the beginning of the session, I would get an idea of how you would like to spend the time, and what would be a pleasing outcome for you would be and that is what I would guide the conversation toward. Those outcomes may be a positive change in feelings or sense of motivation, insight, thinking or decision about actions you will take.
