What are sessions like?

At the beginning of our sessions, I’ll get an idea of how you would like to spend the time and I’ll be watching the time to guide us toward your desired outcome or a good stopping point for this session.

Within this time, whether we are meeting in-person, online, or by phone, a conversation between us will be the most obvious feature. It’s a conversation focused on your needs and interests. You’ll be taking your time talking, feeling, or thinking. As the coach, I often ask exploratory questions and reflect back to you what I am hearing, and observing.

However, there is more happening than just the words shared between us. Our bodies reflect what’s going on inside and there is much more information exchanged between us in our facial expressions, tone of voice, and body language. These provide rich sources of additional information we can observe and explore the meaning of further.
